This is fascinating and a great example of our Earthing works - just look at the pictures. My friends at Earthing Oz run live events where they have a live blood microscopist take live blood samples from  volunteers before Earthing each of them with two Earthing patches for an hour or two. They then take another blood sample to see if there has been a change in their blood profile. At this event all five volunteers had quite profound changes occur. The common theme was, before Earthing they saw "sticky" blood, where the red blood cells were often stuck together (a condition known as Rouleaux) This means that the red blood cells have lost their charge and are attracted to each other. In healthy blood the red blood cells have a negative charge which causes them to repel each other so they can flow freely. Rouleaux reduces circulation and prevents blood flow to the fine capillaries in the bodies extremities. This means that nutrients and oxygen are unable to be effectively distributed throughout the body. This in turn can have negative consequences for a person’s health.

As you can see in the photos below, by connecting with the Earth's electrons (negatively charged ions) via an Earthing device the red blood cells can regain their negative charge and circulation can be dramatically improved within 90 minutes. (This is why we recommend that people on blood thinning medication get checked by their doctor once they begin Earthing as they may need to reduce their dosage) - Notice that there is more separation between red blood cells after Earthing in all five examples shown.

Do You Use This Inexpensive Silent Guardian For Your Heart?

Many of you enjoyed my last message about the benefits of taking Magnesium (thanks for the feedback - if you missed it you can read it by 'Clicking Here') that I thought today I would share with you "The Silent Guardian of Our Hearts & Arteries - Magnesium".

Dr Carolyn Dean, M.D., N.D. says there are three things you need to know about Magnesium and Heart Disease.

  1. Magnesium prevents muscle spasms of the heart blood vessels, which can lead to heart attack.
  2. Magnesium prevents muscle spasms of the peripheral blood vessels, which can lead to high blood pressure.
  3. Magnesium prevents calcium build up in cholesterol plaque in arteries, which leads to clogged arteries.

It is a fact that most modern heart disease is caused by Magnesium deficiency. And there is now a vast and convincing body of research to prove this. In short the diet of the industrial world is short on Magnesium, and this is causing an epidemic of heart disease in the modern world.

Did you know that before 1935 heart disease was not a medical specialty, that there was little interest in cardiology and little of it was taught in medical schools? Deaths from heart disease in the US have soared from less than 30,000 in 1900 to more than 700,000 from 1970 until now. And as you know the medical speciality of cardiology has become a major field of medicine and a great money earner! We have surgery that can now reopen or replace blocked arteries, repair heart valves and more. We have medications for irregular heartbeats, high blood pressure and more. Yes, these medical innovations have saved countless lives, but despite them, the incidence of heart disease has not lessened, but actually has increased due to the spread of our industrialized diet (which is often low in Magnesium).

Let's now look at some of the evidence why Magnesium deficiency can cause heart disease. Animal and clinical studies have shown that chronic Magnesium depletion has direct consequences for both the heart and blood vessels. These include the following...

  • Arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms) and tachycardia (too- rapid heartbeats) due to abnormal shifts of the mineral potassium into and out of heart cells.
  • Abnormal electrical activity in the heart, shown by electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) results.
  • Arteriosclerosis (stiffening and inflexibility of the blood vessels). This can develop even in children.
  • Constriction of the arteries and spasms in blood vessels.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Angina (chest pain due to heart disease).
  • Myocardial infarction (damage to heart cells - better known as a heart attack) due to ischemic heart disease (an insufficient flow of oxygenated blood to the heart) that is associated with too much calcium and not enough magnesium in heart cells.
  • Sudden death due to arrhythmia or infarction.
  • The formation of blood clots within blood vessels, which can lead to heart attack or stroke.
  • Heart valve disorders such as mitral valve prolapse.

The medical profession has responded to this myriad of symptoms by treating each symptom individually, with drugs or surgery or both (see table)...  please 'Click Here' to continue reading this interesting evidence.

  • Research has found that there are very low levels of Magnesium in the heart muscle of people who have died of heart disease - up to 27% less. What's more, damaged areas of hearts from people who had died of heart disease had 40 to 50% less Magnesium than undamaged areas of the same hearts - Interesting!

Magnesium is a vital structural component of all muscle cells, and as you know the heart is mainly muscle. Each molecule of myosin (muscle protein) has an atom of Magnesium in it. Muscles therefore have to have Magnesium to work.

  • A low level of Magnesium in the heart muscle can bring on heart arrhythmias ranging from the merely disturbing, such as palpitations, to the severe, that can be life threatening.
  • Blood vessel muscle cells need healthy amounts of Magnesium to relax properly after each contraction. They can become stiff and inflexible if their Magnesium gets too low.

The treatment of heart disease today is entwined with big business that provides expensive treatments and patented drugs but the evidence is overwhelming; Magnesium is the perfect heart drug, but fortunately for us it is not a drug at all! And actually interestingly there is no allopathic drug that comes anywhere close to Magnesium in effectiveness! How about that?

When the body has adequate Magnesium, we don't even know it is there. It is truly the 'Silent Guardian' of our hearts, blood vessels, cells and bodies, keeping us healthy in an inexpensive way. Personally I would like to see medical treatment given in addition to, rather than in place of, adequate Magnesium nutrition!

PLEASE NOTE: An Important Reminder About Taking Magnesium With Prescription Drugs

You may experience a decreased need for your drugs as Magnesium deficiency is corrected or as Magnesium treats your symptoms or reverses your condition. In other words, the symptoms for which the drug was prescribed may clear up due to the Magnesium, making the drug unnecessary or toxic and causing new symptoms. Patients and doctors should be on the alert for a shift in symptoms. Be sure to work with your doctor to lower your medication doses safely.

As I have said in a previous message most of us are likely to be Magnesium deficient (I know I was) and unless you live an extremely relaxing lifestyle with a diet high in Magnesium foods on a daily basis assume that you are Magnesium deficient to some extent.  And especially if you or your family have a history of heart disease what have you got to lose by supplementing with Magnesium.

The most effective Magnesium supplementation is to take your Magnesium transdermally and it is so easy and cost effective to do so. The great benefit of transdermal Magnesium is that Magnesium is absorbed via the skin much more efficiently than if you were to ingest tablets or powders,  and  once it penetrates the surface of the skin, the body transports it to whichever cells need Magnesium the most.

If keeping excellent health or looking and feeling younger is important to you, then you are going to love today’s article.

For the past few months I have been studying the benefits of taking Magnesium and I have to say my eyes have been opened. It seems if you are not supplementing with Magnesium in the right way, on a daily basis, you are most likely to be deficient (especially if you live in Australia) and this can have huge ramifications on your health now and in the future. And guess what? The big Pharmaceutical  companies don’t want you to know this, as I read that if every adult in the world were to have the correct levels of Magnesium in their bodies, disease would be reduced significantly and I mean significantly like around 80%!!
